FANTASTIC PROGRESS IN MEXICO

Tony arrived in Mexico on 8th March - and set off on a whirlwind 11-day tour
across the country, including events in Mexico City, Monterray and Guadalajara. The tour included a major event for the British Embassy as well as for the British Council and four events for the British Embassy-sponsored

Another outstanding event on this packed tour was Tony ' s keynote lecture and conference for the Government of the State of Jalisco. 350 senior Government and State officials attended the
conference, which lasted from 3pm to 9pm, and was followed by a VIP dinner. A number of ministers attended and in the introductory comments, the Director General, Lic Ignancio Novoa Lopez, declared that Mind Mapping was to become the formal and mandatory method of primary communication for Jalisco ' s government workers. The Finance Secretary, Mtro Jose Luis de Alba Gonzales, who uses Mind Maps for both his government and personal work, honoured the event with his presence and was a supportive and keen participant and Mind Mapper. Hugo Martinez, Director of Operations of Buzan LatAm and master in the application of iMindMap, demonstrated
the latest version of the downloadable iMindMap software - to gasps of
amazement and approval from the attendees . A particular highlight of his
tour was the Tec Milenio Mind Map Workshop followed by uguration of the new Buzan Centre at Monterrey and an 18-campus-wide
satellite conference. After the packed Mind Map Workshop in Tec Milenio ' s
new auditorium, which Tony inaugurated, Tony and press representatives were invited to the launch of the Buzan Centre Monterrey in Tec Milenio. The new centre, masterminded by Cesar Barraza, University Vice President, was
enthusiastically opened by the President , Alejandro Cristerna.
